Getting Out Into Our Community This Fall

One of our biggest goals at Honeybee Tree is simple: get out into our community, meet families, and make sure people know we’re here when they need us.

This fall, we’re excited to do just that! Honeybee Tree will be joining some wonderful community events, including Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Shine Bright Event and Bites and Lights at Springwell Church.

For us, these events are about so much more than setting up a table. They’re an opportunity to introduce Honeybee Tree to new families, connect with other organizations doing good work in our community, and meet the people we hope to serve.

Sometimes the hardest part of offering support is simply making sure families know it exists. By showing up in the places where families are already gathering, we hope to build relationships now so that when a hard season comes, they know they have somewhere to turn.

We’re looking forward to a fun fall filled with new faces, new connections, and lots of opportunities to share the heart behind Honeybee Tree. If you see us out and about, be sure to stop by and say hello! 💛

Bee There Boxes Are Taking Flight!

Just a few weeks ago, we launched Bee There Boxes with a simple idea: find another way to show up for local families and caregivers walking through hard seasons.

We hoped the community would help us find the people who needed a little extra encouragement, and the response has been so exciting to see.

Already, more than 10 Bee There Boxes have made their way to families across our community! Each nomination represents a real person, a real story, and someone who took the time to say, “I think they could use a little extra support right now.”

We’re so excited to see this new program taking off and even more excited about where it can go from here. Our hope is to keep filling boxes, reaching families, and creating small moments of care that remind people they aren’t walking through the hard stuff alone.

A Sweet Beginning

In July, Honeybee Tree took an exciting first step as we officially launched our Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship Caregiver Support Group (aka: A “Hive”).

Starting something new is always a little uncertain, but we've already been reminded that meaningful community isn't measured by numbers. It begins with people who are willing to show up, share their stories, encourage one another, and remind each other that no one has to carry life's hardest seasons alone.

We're incredibly grateful for this first chapter and are looking forward to watching this group grow over the months ahead. There is still room for additional parents and caregivers to join us, whether you've been on this journey for years or are just beginning.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, encouraged, volunteered, and believed in the mission of Honeybee Tree! We truly believe this is just the beginning, and we're excited to see all that lies ahead as we continue building a community rooted in hope, connection, and compassion.

Popsicles in the Park

Nothing fancy. Just popsicles, a playground, and a chance to connect. ☀️🍦

We had such a wonderful time at our first Honeybee Tree Popsicles in the Park! It was a joy to see families laughing, children playing, and new friendships beginning.

Flourish Adoption F/A/K Family Fair

We had such a great time connecting with families at the recent family fair with Flourish Adoption Ministries.

From meeting new families to sharing more about Honeybee Tree’s mission, the event reminded us how powerful community can be.

We loved hearing your stories, learning about the needs families are facing, and seeing kids enjoy the fun activities!

Care Boxes

One of our favorite moments recently, was delivering care boxes to families in our community, including deliveries to Shriners Children's Greenville and several local families navigating difficult seasons.

These boxes were filled with small comforts, encouragement, and reminders that no family should feel alone while walking through hard things.

While a care box may seem simple, we hope each one communicates something meaningful: someone is thinking about you, someone cares, and your family matters.
